IMPORTANT: CDE Announces Mandatory 2013-2014 DSA Training Dates

Please mark your calendar for mandatory DSA trainings as follows: 1 - Friday March 1 from 10:00-12:00. 2 - Monday, March 11 from 10:00-12:00. The Regional DSA Training scheduled for February 28 has been cancelled. A 2013-2014 Mandatory DSA/Fiscal Training is scheduled for March 18, from 9:00-12:00 in the Milpitas Room. Please find attached the latest draft of the 2013-2014 DSA that CDE recently made available. They are asking for input from the field. Unfortunately, CDE has postponed the training for the new DSA again. We will not have received the required training before our scheduled regional training on March 7. This forces us to cancel the March 7 training. As soon as we have confirmation of the new state training date, you will receive notification of the new regional training date. I apologize and thank you for your patience.

IMPORTANT CHANGE: 2012-2013 DSA/Fiscal Training Re-scheduled & Registration link

The DSA/FISCAL training that was scheduled for March 1, has been postponed to March 7. The reason for the change is that the annual CDE training for regional staff is later this year. The CDE training will take place on Feb. 28, and we will need time to prepare for the district training afterwards. We understand that there will be many changes to the DSA this year, and we plan to share some of the expected changes with coordinators at ARAC #3 on Feb. 9. Please click read more to register.

REMINDER: AUGUST 31, 2011 - DEADLINE TO APPLY FOR ADDITIONAL DSA FUNDS

Based on a revised 2011-2012 Preliminary Allocation from CDE, and a revised count of PFS students, we have made corresponding adjustments to district allocations. An allocation amount and application form was sent to each district on August 2. If you choose to apply for these funds, please complete the DSA Addendum and return it to the Ruby Parra (ruby_parra@sccoe.org) no later than August 31, 2011.

UPDATE - Please update your calendar with the following information. The 2009-2010 DSA training has been moved from March 11, 2010 to March 25, 2010. This change was requested by district coordinators at the last ARAC meeting because of a conflict with the CABE Conference. An invitation with the NEW location and registration link will be provided at a later time.
