New Region 1 Staff Announcement

Please join us in welcoming three new staff members to the Region 1 Office. New responsibilities are as follows: Rosario Cruz has assumed responsibilities as the Program Specialist for OSY; Ines Zapiola as Program Specialist for Parent Involvement; and Maria Carmen Navarro as School Readiness Teacher for regionally supported districts. An additional announcement is that Norma Flores will now be acting as Program Specialist for Health. Welcome everyone!

JOSE ZEPEDA - MACE MAN OF THE YEAR!

Our own Jose Zepeda was honored this weekend at the 39th Cinco de May Scholarship Banquet sponsored by the Mexican-American Committee on Education of San Benito County. He was selected as Man of the Year for his outstanding contributions to education and to his community. We are proud of you Jose! (see the attached document for more details about Jose)
